SISTER JUDITE
We have reported previously about the very sad situation of our pregnant sister Judite. We are sorry to say that after Monday evening Bible class, which she and her husband attended, our sister went into labour and delivered a dead baby boy. The following picture after it was taken from her at the hospital says everything that needs to be said about the need for prayer for her:

The hardness of life here is that the hospital discharged her at 04:00 a.m. that night. She and her husband went back to the night shelter but you can't enter night shelters after 11 p.m. So they hung around on the street for a bit and then came to the Bible Centre. On Tuesday mornings, we hold a "Bible breakfast" where we do the Bible readings and fry up the food left over from the Sunday and Monday feeding schemes. So they came to that, and sis Sandra and others comforted her as best they could:

You can see sis Judite on the far left, with Br Marek reading the Bible standing.

Here we are, after dark by now, taking mattresses into the grim tenament block.

Judite is a simple soul who simply loves the Lord, but she is traumatized, can hardly speak, and is suicidal. We wrapped her in the "Blankets of love" made by our kind sisters in NSW Australia:

Please pray for our traumatized sister. Her husband is being very good to her, and we have a steady flow of brothers and sisters visiting her.

BROTHER AIGARS
We're pleased to report the baptisms of AIGARS and GENNADY at the Riga Bible Centre. There's a very encouraging personal testimony from Aigars [in the photo of the "Bible Breakfast" above, facing the camera, black shirt and moustache; and also in the left photo below]

CHINA
Brother Feng reports the baptism of another Bible Basics contact: "I traveled to Zhangzhou and baptized Chen during the National Day, It was not a very easy journey when staying in the high speed bullet train for nearly 10hrs, huge crowds. Then after around 1 hours journey by taxi, I finally met him and we sitted on the turf where were few people, very quiet there compared with the noisy and messy city. We went through the Bible Basics together to clarify what the Bible really teaches, for 4 hours. The Spirit of God, Death, Purgatory, Ghosts And Reincarnation,The Kingdom will be Established When Jesus returns, The Devil and Satan, The Nature of Jesus, Jesus and God’s difference, Baptism Into Jesus. We prayed and read Exodus to give us faith. Moses lead the children of Israel out of slavery in Egypt and into the land of Canaan, through the Sea. This story inspired us to remain optimistic and have faith in God, and able to break through adversity. We can say that our life as well as our baptism is like going through the Red Sea, but God will be responsible, He will give us protection to increase our confidence. They walked on the desolate wilderness desert and were very afraid, Pillar of cloud, pillar of fire meant God be with them. If we have faith in him, He is surely with us and guide us. We studied many chapters together. Then we went to a local swimming pool to perform the baptism in the name of Jesus. Bro Chen is very interested in studying more, so I will send him 2 copies of literature called Who is the Beast? and The Trinity: Divine Truth or Human Tradition, that brother John Aldersley distributed last time in the meeting in Shanghai.Amen."
